AMP has been awarded the Emily Clark Balch Prize for Poetry, for six poems published in VQR in an annual year (2021). The award, selected by the staff of the journal, comes with a $1000 award.
The poems published are all from AMP’s Bingo Card hybrid series: “Don’t Hate Your Daddy Bingo”; “Jewish Christmas Eve Bingo”; “Change Your Life Bingo”; “Greek Diner Coffee Bingo”; “Community Garden Bingo”; “High School Reunion Bingo”. Look for similar work widely, including on the Academy of American Poets site come fall.
